Almost in the middle of the town of streets Šiluva and Skogalis is the hill called George Hill. Legend says it that there is a former Lithuanian saint place- alkas. The oak was burning eternal flame, which is fueled by 12 virgins boys and girls. The introduction of Christianity in Lithuania, there was built a wooden St. George's Church, which served to Valavičius founded by and built Tytuvėnai Bernardine church. Then on the hill already mentioned only St. George's Chapel and the surrounding cemetery. Now remained only traces of the foundation and the former once marked the cemetery a few stones and tags.
