The mound (also known as Sponstis or Maldokalnis) is located on the hill that dominates the surroundings. The site is oval, elongated in the east - west direction, measuring 25 × 20 m. Slopes of medium steepness, 15 m high. 1999 B. Dakanis examined the total area of the 11 m2 mound. A fireplace with lined and smooth ceramics and pieces of clay plaster was found on the site. In the area of 0.2 ha there is a foothill settlement, where a stone ax was found during the research. The mound dates back to the 1st thousand beginning. The mound is overgrown with deciduous trees, a larger part of the site is soiled.
