Kubiliai mound (also known as Birutkalnis) dates back to the I-II thousand years ago. Started equipped shore cape, Dubysa, Gryžuva on the left and on the right bank, at the confluence of the rivers. The mound is still mentioned in Papušynis name. It is equipped with a separate large hill, nameless stream bank. Site quadrangular, elongated north - south direction, 120 × 87 m in size, up to 3 meters higher in the southern and western parts. Kubiliai mound is the largest Kelmė area. However, his fate did not spare: overgrown with spruce and pine trees lined the north-eastern part of the area lying fallow.
