The temporary church in Tytuvėnai was built in 1872. A. Christianovičius built it in his manor, but already in 1873–1875 a new stone church was built. The parish was cared for by the priests of Raseiniai and Kolainiai. After World War II, the temple was assigned to the parish of Raseiniai, later to Kolainiai and Šiauliai. The Soviet government sought to close this church: in 1947 wanted to set up a warehouse in 1953 ordered to pay the debts which the clergy were able to cover. Currently, the church is located as a branch of the Church of the St. Apostles Peter and Paul in Šiauliai.
