The mound is located near the village Burbaičiai, on the right bank of the Kražantė river, at the confluence with an unnamed stream. The mound is of complex configuration, elliptical in shape, even 24 m high, 120 m long and 80 m wide. At the top of the mound there is an almost circular 18 m diameter site, it is surrounded on the east and south by an embankment, the height of which is 9.5 m from the site, from the outside - 10 m.
According to the legend, a giant poured into the Burbaičiai mound in antiquity: a giant of unseen magnitude once walked through the country, tired and sitting to rest on the high bank of Kražantė. After that, he clogged the clog like a ship, poured out the land that had taken over and turned into a hill, which is now called Piliukas.
