The manor has been mentioned since the 15th century and belonged to the families of Counts Čapskiai, nobles Šemetos, Gorskiai. The owners of the manor built the neo-Gothic style manor house that have survived to this day, as well as planted a park and dug ponds. The manor was famous for its luxuriously furnished interiors and rich art collections.
